I am looking for a way to make dice rolling faster. I spend far to long when I play, and dice rolling is by far the best thing I can improve on.

Is the Warhammer 40K assault dice app any good?

That app was designed for 7th edition so it still has scatter dice and the like. However, it works pretty well for just rolling a bunch of virtual d6. You can have several "dice trays" open with different numbers and colors of d6, making it pretty easy to keep track of. I'd say it's worth it, though I haven't played any games with it and I don't know how other people might feel about someone using that instead of real dice.

I was trying to damage with 30 devilgauntgs today. That is 90 shots. And then I use the shooy again stratagem.

If you need to roll tons of dices and feel you can trust the software then it's good. For few dices like <=20 I find regular dices work well enough. And outside home app better be something you can find on google app market(I presume I don't get chance to play against creator of that software) or no go.

it has a feature where you can pickup any dice under X by touching it on the top. Great for rolling hits, wounds etc..... But I cant figure out how to make it work for saves (remove above X).

I downloaded it a while back. The dice became black squares. It was fun while it lasted.

Do tournaments allow dice rolling apps? I think that's my only concern. I've been thinking about using one myself.

I have the same issue and it keeps happening, even after I reinstall the app. the dice will go back to black squares after a while.

The main problem with the app is that the animations for rerolls knock over the dice that weren't rerolled. So you don't get proper randomization, in fact hurting yourself.
