That Harry the Hammer model takes me back. Man I miss Warhammer.

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Really epic painting, Tommy! Cool battle damage on the Libby, lovely blending on the sniper's cloak, and ace Skaven!

Considering the success of Total War: Warhammer, I reckon that GW might bring back square base Warhams in some form.

Sometimes, when I see, say, a Skaven Clanrat on a round base for AoS, I can't help but feel that the model is too constricted, like it meant to be ranked up in a blocky unit with other models. AoS is still cool beans though

Thanks a lot guys, I still have the slave driver to paint for the Rat Ogres, hopefully it wont take 3-4 years before I get around to that one

And here's the finished rat ogre leader/tamer/driver and the complete team
These have been done for a while, just haven't got around to posting.
The leader has received some matte varnish after these photos were taken, so he's not as shiny any more, might post new shots of him later.

I quite like how the they turned out together in the end over many years of sporadic painting

Great looking stuff! It's nice to see some WHFB/AOS stuff. Don't see nearly enough. I have to second the battle damage on the Libby, very convincing. Let's see some more.

A somewhat overdue update - I finished some models this summer and fall for my Khador army, a Juggernaut, Destroyer a Widowmaker Marksman and Kommander Harkevich.
Very happy with the results even though it took a lot of time with the battle damage. Getting a whole force up to this standard is a big task, but it's coming along nicely.

Both the warjacks have magnetized arms and hands, so the weapons can later be replaced and they're posable.

Incredible! Really like the wear and tear on the Juggernaut.

As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.
