So I'm trying to get a glowing red effect to do the eyes, weapon details and ribs of a necron warrior - converted with the rod section from an immortal gause gun (so plastic with circles and ridges instead of clear green rod). Right now this is what I'm thinking of doing, though any advice, tips or changes to the below would be most welcomed.

Right now I've mess around but not got any firm ideas in mind. I'm thinking of:

Eyes:
base to eye socket area - Wazdakka Red + Lahmian Medium
base to eye - Stormhost Silver
layer to eye - Spiritstone Red (unsure if this spiritstone use will properly work or if it would be better to just give the eye a regular red base colour and then add silver/white highlight dot?)
Edge to eye socket area - Wild Rider red

Weapon
Energy storage area: based off this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpSVZiYLuPY
Base - Khorne Red
Edges of the raised areas - Wazdakka Red
Edges of raised areas - Wildrider Red
a few spots - White Scar

Rod section of gun:
Base to circles - Stormhost Silver
Layer to circles - Spiritstone Rred
I'm currently unsure what to do for the recessed areas around the circles, I want them to be red as well, though I'm not sure what to choose to get a nice effect here

Ribs - I don't really want much glow here, more of a much more muted red in the recess.
Base - Khorne Red
Wash - Agrax Earthshade (wash I'm using as a general step over most of the model)

I hope that might be enough without having to touch-up the area between the ribs, though I'm unsure if Agrax will work even if done only as a very thin layer so I might need to touch up the reds and layer over them once?

I use a very light color (yellow/Orange with a layer of Tamiya Clear red.

I've done all of my Salamanders eyes like this and I really like how they turned out.
