I spoke with the TO the other day, he says it's up to about 44, possibly more. They have room for 80 and from what I recall they came close to that last year.

They split it into two days for the qualifying rounds then one for championship. I think top 10 get into champs. It's capped at 32 per day. But you can only sign up for one day.

We are actually changing the format of the event at Gencon. Its now a 100 man field with 6 rounds. 3 rounds on Friday and 3 rounds on Saturday. Last year we had to do the two days of qualification for the finals, due to space issue. This year that is not a problem. Big thanks to the guys at Gencon for giving us the amount of space we need.

Last year we had 64 players, with about 8-10 walk ups I had to sadly turn away due to space. 32 played on Thursday, top 15 moved on to finals. Same thing for Friday, Then a 30 man finals on Saturday. This was all with edition being announced and release right before our event.

Glass City is tomorrow. About 60 people registered so far. It will be live streamed as well, for those who want to watch some warhammer. I'm pretty excited for my first big tournament with the codex.

Those events look fun, but we were hoping for a small point tournament, too. We had a blast playing Kill Team 2 year’s ago.

I can’t commit more than 4 hours to any one thing at GenCon. Too much to do.

There is a doubles tournament on Thursday that might interest you.

If you are looking for something small, might i recommend the space hulk event. We are building a massive ship to play space hulk on it. Should be rather impressive.

I saw the doubles event but wasn't sure if you needed to bring a partner or if you would be paired with a rando.

I know we have several teams signing up, but i'm sure we are going to have players sign up with out a team mate, which for them we will randomly pair them together to make even teams. For more details, I would recommend contacting the GM. Their e-mail should be on the event page on Gencon's website.

Forge world will be allowed. Army list due date is July 20th. This is also the cut off for new rules as well. There will be a player packet coming out soon. I'm still finalizing it.
