Isn't it about time to have some BA resources pinned?

After a long while of searching around the interwebs, I haven't found too many places aside from DakkaDakka that have a strategy/discussion/painting community.

Before I started playing BA, I was pretty heavy into the X-wing scene (been playing since wave 2) and had played some light 40k games on the side. Both games seem to have a near never ending stream of tools and resources, which is a large part of why I enjoyed those two games.

If you will, please reply to this thread with any cool or interesting BA sites, blogs, or anything else useful related to BA that you can think of.

Thanks for reading, and let's make DakkaDakka a better place for BA players

P.S. Below I've included some of the BA resources I've come across to get this thread rolling, feel free to browse through

*Edited for clearer reading.

Damn fine idea, bolt action is my main focus now. Definitely need some more love on here. When I get my yanks and Germans forces to a stage I’m happy with they will be up on here, maybe a bolt action army thread.
Don’t forget the bolt action Facebook group too, I’d post a link if I knew how. Lol.

Thanks xKillGorex!

Having some main, helpful BA posts pinned would be great (let me know if there's someone who handles that, and I'll message them about it).

In other news, I just played my 1st game with late war US Paras. Many, many tactical mistakes were made on my part but the game was still a lot of fun, lol. Lets just say there's a HUGE difference between what works on paper and what works on the tabletop, hahaha.

I'm really impressed with the mechanics and am liking the somewhat arcade feel BA has over other wargames.

Now it's just a matter of improving my list, and getting my guys painted (the half of my DA army I had been painting is gonna have to wait, lol).

Thanks for the resources! Going to check out some of those podcasts. Found a great group of guys to game with and really enjoying BA 2e so far with my US Army force. Will be getting into Germans later on as well since I have a few sprues of infantry.

I'm hoping Warlord Games bring their forum back online soon. It had tons of really good, useful stuff.

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

If I remember rightly they put a message up on their website saying the forums would be back early sometime this year. Hope so too as you said there was loads of goodness on there.
Well one of the best forums around to be fair.
