How do?

So when I were knee-high to a grasshopper, the telly (well, ITV) would gap fill the schedules with the occasional cartoon, typically from the 30's and 40's.

These were in black and white, and really pretty awesome. The era of the bandy legged character!

But one sticks in my mind because it was gloriously creepy. From memory, it involved a dancing poison bottle in the shape of a skellington.

I'd love to track down legitimate copies of these for my home media collection. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful!

From googling "classic animation dancing poison bottle skeleton", this comes up:

http://metro-goldwyn-mayer-cartoons.wikia.com/wiki/Bottles

edit: that one appears to be a colour cartoon, so may not be the one you're looking for.

Sounds like "Happy harmonies" series by MGM - it's 30s and fits the description.

Copies have either been deleted or just blocked from youtube for "copyright" reasons.

You can watch it here, though.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Definitely sounding like it!

Would probably help if I remembered Bing is useless, and to use Google!

Thanks chaps!
