Need ~20 bolters with handle still in. Recent kits have bolter directly on the hand. Eases up assembling but means simply cutting bolter off to hang around looks silly. I would either need to make good handles myself(not confident on ability to do it well) or get bolters with handle on it.

Any kit that has plenty of those that I could hunt from bits stores?

The only kits that I know of that have bolters without hands attached are the Space Marine Command Squad and the Primaris Intercessors. However, in both those cases it is only one gun, and the command bolter is quite decorated while the intercessor gun is the modern bolt rifle instead of the old boltgun.

Resin kits on Ebay is often the old style of bolters without hands attached.

Chaos Space Marine Spure has bolters without handles.

Forgeworld sells a ton of different patterns of bolter with handles attached.

Do they? I tried looking through them and all had hands. Albeit I did only look HH section...

Oh and guess chaos marine ones work as well for late heresy sons of horus as well in a pinch. Bunch of bolt pistols and chainswords are already from chaos sprues

I'll be honest, I'm working from memory on what FW stocks, but I do remember handled bolters. My apologies if they all have hands and it's my sieve of a memory that's at fault here. Some of the 3rd part casters, like Kromlech, so definitely sell 'bolters' of various patterns that have handles and not hands.

The FW ones used to have handles. They switched to the other when they started doing the armor marks to match the plastics from Horus Heresy(which we didn't know was in production at the initial time of the swapover).

The Raven Guard Marine Upgrade Pack comes with 5 handled bolters and that seems to be the only thing in their catalog that still does.

Honestly ebay spares auctions especially older ones might be your best bet. All the old 3rd ed multiparts did you see.

The chaos bolter suggestion worked. Also older looking which fits horus heresy models and no obvious chaos marks at least on one side(and hey maybe siege of terra sons of horus have started using those if there are)

FW used to make their 30K bolter patterns with handles but after the Calth and Prospero boxes they've started to switch to the newer style of integrated hand. Phasing out the older versions as they make new molds.

Ebay sellers tend to still sell the older style of bolters though.
