Subject: Best Way to get the most money when selling on Ebay?

I have an old Space marine army that I no longer use, or like.
Its painted all to a cohesive paint scheme (salamanders) albiet not a particularly high one.
Wondering if it would be best to strip them and sell them stripped, or primed or painted?
Also should i dissassamble them or leave them assembled?
Also i'm assuming that you get more money if you sell each unit individually? Don't think ill be arsed to do that though since you can buy used tactical squads for peanuts so its probably worth bunching a few of them up.
Just looking for tips.
cheers

Got any pics?
Had a quick look in your gallery but didn't see any.
Honestly, if you're willing to strip/disassemble then listing separately is the least time consuming factor.
Personally I'd either pick a price for the whole army that you think it's realistically worth and sit on it until it sells. That's the least effort with a single postage and minimal listing effort.
or
Split into individual units and let them find their price starting from £10 ish each. Offer to combine postage and you may have less postal work.
I really wouldn't bother stripping or reundercoating unless the paint is awful but that's because my time is more valuable than the difference in profit it would achieve.

Sorry mate i havent got any pictures on dakka of them.
i would say they are painted to a satisfactory TT standard, base colours and highlights.
The army consists of:
Vulkan He'stan
5x Assault Terminators
3x Standard termies
30x tactical Marines
Storm Raven
Land raider
5x Assault Marines
5x Devastators (unpainted)
Reckon about £100 is reasonable? Automatically Appended Next Post: oh theres a dreadnought too

You should be able to get more than that.
It doesn't cost you much at all to list them, so start them a little high, and see if anyone bites. Sell them separately and not as an army (you'll lose a lot of money doing a large lot like that).

Selling armies that are cohesive is a good way to make money.
I sold this Tau army a year ago for $560:

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP

Yea i guess thats a good point but im under no illusions that these guys look very average. Unlike alot of people who'd probably list them as 'Pro-Painted'
Alright thanks Elbows, pretty sound advice to start high and then go down if noone buys.
