List tactics are very simple. Guard hold the line, Blood Angels Deep Strike in and remove key targets. Blood Angels HQ choices are there simply because I already own the models, so why not? Very simple and what Guardsman wouldn't want to see the Emperor's Angels come smashing into the enemy lines and slaughtering the enemies of the Imperium for the Emperor?

To make it Matched Play Legal you basically break it down into a Double Cadian Battalion Detachment with a Blood Angels Vanguard, and Blood Angels Outrider Detachment.

If you play matched play rules you dont get access to chapter tactics or regiment because your brigade is mixed. Only pure detachments get these rules. I think you also dont get access to stratagems because your brigade is mixed.

I will edit in that it's for Narrative Play. Thanks! It wouldn't be hard to make it Matched Play legal by breaking it down into a Double Battalion plus Vanguard and Outrider.

Even in Narrative Play, you won't get the regimental bonuses (or The Red Thirst) if they are in mixed detachments. As it is, you need another IG HQ to make a single battalion for them. Also, in matched play there is typically a 3 detachment limit for games up to 2k pts.

Command squad is fluffy, but realistically questionable. The medi-pack only works on a 4+ and will only bring back 1 dead guardsmen (probably a lasgun fellow, as you wouldn't remove the plasma gun as a casualty before you had to). The standard is up to you, and my initial opinion on the vox-caster is that you probably don't need another one, since they're in all of your infantry squads.

I wouldn't put the mortars in the infantry squads if I were you. Lascannons are good in there because the extra wounds protect the gun, but the mortars can just be parked way in your backfield out of LOS. Plus that way they aren't at a -1 to hit when those squads need to move (, move, move! ....).

The executions will continue until morale improves
