Strategy is pretty simple. Use the Asurman and the Dire Avengers to deny first turn assaults (4+ invulnerable makes a nasty wall) and then advance them repetitively so that they can snag control points/act as walls. The two Shuriken Cannon Wave Serpents will be filled with Guardian units and warlocks/a farseer. This will allow me to reduce the amount of unit drops and enhance my chances of getting first turn while also vastly increasing said units mobility. They will focus on capturing control points and supporting their respective wave serpent during fire fights, while also advancing up the board in order to to pull attention off of the remainder of my army. The Bright lance wave serpent will be filled with the 2 units of Fire Dragons (this decision is subject to change haven't 100 percent decided where exactly to put each unit as far as vehicles go) and will be tank hunting. Most likely the fire dragons (and whatever serpent they are put in)) will be deepstiking allowing them to get to their target quickly as well as providing a serious distraction for my opponent to contend with. Similarly the Striking Scorpions will be deep striking in to tie up ranged units and act as a distraction. War walkers will either start on the board or outflank into preferable terrain depending on my opponent, and the one Shuriken Cannon war walker will act as a wound sink for the other 2. The rangers are mostly there to fill points and snag objectives but will also be used to negate my opponents deep strike options depending on what army I'm facing, aside from that they will be taking pot shots at opposing characters. I am also open to suggestions for psychic abilities as far as Warlocks go but for my Farseer I was thinking Executioner and Doom. Thanks again for your time and suggestions.

You've got some good elements in this list, I just think you need some more serious firepower to back it up. The war walkers and striking scorpions are the weak links in this list. I tried to make striking scorpions effective in my first few games in 8th but they are really hit or miss and aren't consistent enough to be competitive. Also, when making detachments, you have to remember to keep the wave serpent in the same craftworld as the units being transported. Serpents can only transport infantry in the same craftworld. With that in mind, I would run all your serpents as Alaitoc and change the vanguard detachment to craftworld alaitoc.

I replaced the war walkers with dark reapers which have a much better gun and always hit on 3+, and I replaced the striking scorpions with another squad of fire dragons to deep strike. You could also drop the 3rd squad of fire dragons to bring an extra wave serpent. The other big change I made was switching a guardian squad to a ranger squad. I think that 5 rangers on foot will be much more useful than 10 guardians running around. This way you have 30 dire avengers on foot, 10 guardians in a serpent, 10 reapers in a serpent, and 2x5 Fire dragons in a serpent with an optional 5 dragons deepstriking. You could deploy the guardians and deep strike the fire dragons next to the guardian's serpent so you can use the fire&fade stratagem to embark the fire dragons. I think this is a really interesting list, let me know if you like the changes and how the list performs

The Big change which I am sure you have noticed is that I have switched a large portion of the army over to storm guardians. This is mostly due to a lack of fire dragons within my collection. As such the Storm guardians act as a cheap supplement wielding 2 fusion guns each, providing comparable fire power to one Fire Dragon unit. Concurrently I don’t much care for rangers in this edition so the switch Storm Guardians, for me, is a happy change. 2 of these storm guardian units will be in transports which leaves one such unit foot slogging it and with the Fire dragons occupying the Biel-tan wave serpent the dark reapers will also be walking. Personally I dont think this will be a big deal since they will have some nice Dire Avenger bubble wrapping and with always hitting on 3+ they are pretty adept at walking. Aside from these changes I decided to scrap the Vanguard detachment in order to make up some points for the remainder of the army but if you have any suggestions for alternatives elite choices I would be more than happy to revisit the vanguard.

Footslogging is a slow way to die.
I'd mount Fire Dragons into Serpents as in the list of Helvost.
Dire Avengers need transports too.
Small Guardian squads dont cut it.

The fire dragons are in a serpent, but to be honest if my opponent wants to take time firing at my 4++ Dire Avengers I would welcome it since it would most likely be a waste of time. Although I do agree that the storm guardians will be fragile but thats why they will be in -2 to hit wave serpents.
