UPDATE: Does the demon prince wings work on a hive tyrant? I tryed to find a picture but I could not?

I got an old metal hive tyrant walkrant I never used.

I wanna get some wings on that sucker. Where can I get it? I know this might be the singel hardest item to get, are there any kitbashes I can do? I started one something now, but the amount of work it would take is insane.

At some point it might be cheaper to just buy a new kit. :-P

All three were metal, though the last (current early) was only part metal with some plastic. I ask because the very early hive tyrants were a lot smaller and shorter than the 3rd generation and following - and even 3rd gen isn't huge.

The balrog or fellbeast wings were popular choices as are dragon wings from various GW models which can often be found on ebay for sale. You might even find Hive Tyrant wings from the plastic kit from people who didn't use them and who are not converting or magnetizing

Most vendors has a very high shipping cost to norway, meaning I rather have to buy the whole model at the store.

I found one wendor with demon price wings, could they work?

Demon prince wings would probably fit - if its the 3rd gen they might be a bit on the large side; although wings normally are rather large compared to body size; but you might have to pin the wings to the model and use a heavier base to counterbalance the weight of the wings (even plastic has weight when its large, and even if not a heavier base reduces the chance of the model tipping over if bumped
