Hey guys, wanted some feedback on this list for my DG. I normally play against my group of friends who have admech, black templar, eldar, and word bearers.

With this list I wanted enough infantry to cover the objectives we play, they lack psykers normally so Smite always does the numbers for me. I mostly play against the admech so that's why the spell choices. I've got the assaulting squad with the BLs and the anti-armour squad with Plasma to deal with his crawler. The Bloat Drone has consistently melted through the rangers and vanguards in one shot (or 2d6) so that's why he's in. I tried out my plague crawler last time with spitters but he got engaged in melee and sucked bad. Plus his mortar hit nothing. Typhus I want in because I just got him, and want to see how he goes with the poxwalkers.

I dont understand why play so many plague marines and few poxwalkers with thypus, for example take out the 158pts unit and play 20+20 poxes and give some extra weapon to 85pt marine unit.

plague marines are more versatile, they get some extra punch in melee you have lot of troops to control obj, i would suggest you take out the single drone for a lord with arch contaminator, but agree that drone give you some needed mobility.

I only have 20 poxwalkers sadly, I am looking for more. I also only have 2 blight launchers, one from the PM box, one from the easy to build 3. You wouldn't recommend plasma guns in the other squad of 7?

plasma is fine on the other squad, and in many situations is better. I think the main reason blight launchers have a slight edge in most people's eyes is because with an Arch-contaminator warlord nearby you can reroll all wounds with the plague weapons. Plus, most enemies have -1 to hit units that make the overcharge portion of the plasma a bit more dangerous.

I also don't have a demon prince, but I think my 3 plasma gun squad will be a regular AT unit so I'm probably going to get one!

with ur list you will never overcharge plasma unless you want risk model removed, so for me blight launcher is better, you can take out the smaller plague marine unit and add a Lord with arch.contaminator so you can use ur plasma+blight launchers at full effect.

What about putting the arch contaminator on the plaguecaster and adding some more plague marines to the other squads? Or would a Lord of C be better replacement?

if you want use plasma you need a lord, if you want use blight launchers arch contaminator plaguecaster is ok.
