Me and a friend are hoping to go to the London GT doubles. He usually rocks a fairly assault heavy but fluffy wolves army (Thunder wolf cav, Wulfen, Stormwolf, Bjorn felhanded).

So I was hoping to compliment his army with my templars that can churn out loads of bolter fire that can handle hordes as well as being handy in close combat. So here's what I've got:

Plan is rather straight forward as with 1000 points you're pretty limited with options. So it would be to load up that Land Raider with the blobs of Crusaders and HQ's and go up the field and disembark to depending on who me and my partner are facing (he would probably deal with the more elite/heavy hitters along with my terminators) and the Crusaders + HQ + Land Raider Deal with the chaff. Mass bolter fire and bum rush units with Crusader blobs that are rerolling hits thanks to Grimaldus as well as the 6's exploding into more hits from his aura and then being able to reroll the 1's for wounds thanks to the Lieutenant and obviously rerolling charges with the chapter tactics. If we don't get first turn just pray the Land Raider survives
