A question about Aciditic Ichor (Daemon of Nurgle warlord trait) and the disgustingly resilience characteristic.

I want to understand this rules...everytime the warlord got a wound, the enemy unit that dealt the wound get a mortal wound on a 4+ at the end of its attack.
So, lets say, my Daemon Prince of Nurgle got attacked by a marine squad during close combat.

The Marines dealt 4 wounds to my warlord, and my warlord canceled 2 wounds with disgustingly resilience. Which is the good answer, assuming I'll score the 4+ for each aciditic ichor throws:

A) The marines get 4 mortal wounds

B) The marines get 2 mortal wounds (disgustingly resilience canceled the aciditic ichor bonus for the 2 wounds I saved)

C) The marines only got one mortal wound, even if disgustingly resilience canceled all the wounds

D) The marines only got one mortal wound, but if disgustingly resilience canceled all the wounds, the marines do not suffer any mortal wounds.

Another question:

For whatever reason (i dont know if its possible, maybe with some relics or traits), my warlord got a wound during the fighting phase from a unit that is not in close combat with him. Can this unit suffer a mortal wound on a 4+?

Acid ichor triggers when you lose a wound.

Disgustingly resilient prevents losing wounds.
So 2 ichor attempts on the marines.

Bonus question: yes- but can't think how this could happen.

Two attempts. Feel No Pain effects prevent wounds being lost in the first place, they don't refund them.

Soul burst is one thing I can think of (taking a shoot action). A vehicle in a squadron exploding is a second. Not sure what else exists though.

Yes. All that acidic ichor cares about is that it is the fight phase and you have lost a wound. How it happens is irrelevant.
