Necromunda is back! And the last months of preparation paid off, here is a complete board with a mix of GW terrain and Mantic Industrial terrain. The mat is from PWORK Wargaming.

Used technic legos to make all the pipes modular:

All the walkways are modular:

I'm jealous. Are you using the new Necromunda rules or classic ed.?

Necrons - 6000+
Eldar/DE/Harlequins- 6000+
Genestealer Cult - 2000
Currently enthralled by Blanchitsu and INQ28.

Thanks, yes we have played old Necromunda and community edition a couple of years ago, so I was really looking for something new. I enjoy much of the new rules and mechanics, only problem is the books are quite messy and there's alot of confusion and unanswered questions. Hopefully this will be solved by Errata/FAQ pdf.

Lookin' good, and very much what a proper Necromunda table should look like (perhaps even more cluttered!). Does show though how much of the rather pricey GW terrain you'd need if you wanted to use just Solar Mechanicus or whatever. Great work.

Thanks again.

I should give mantic some additional credit because their sets include a lot of bits and there's still some bits left for another structure similar to those in the pictures.

There's also a couple of GW container crates I'm planning to make a scenery piece of, as well as I got the a little more GW terrain to build.

Mantic is really modular and fun to work with, it's easy to be creative. There are some youtube videoes where magnets are used with great success on hte GW terrain (on columns, floors, fences, walkways, pretty much everything).

The price is quite staggering for this amount of terrain. During the last year I had collected a bunch of terrain boxes over time, but didn't sit down and work with it until the necromunda hype peaked in november/desember last year. Cutting plastic, scraping mold lines, fitting, glueing, basing, spraying and painting took a lot of weeks. I overlooked how much resources are needed, not only the terrain itself, but multiple bottles of glue, 2 and a half boxes of sand, almost 3 spray cans ++. Even the plastic boxes to store them in amounted to a noticable sum. In the end this is what I always wanted though, a complete set of Necromunda terrain (a dream for over a decade).
