Lets imagine we have 2 models (tyrranofexes with Rupure Canon ) with big guns standing in front of each other, behind them are some shotting troops. Genestealers of my oponent charges my fexes, and then trying to pile in through the big guns.
The question is - can it be so? Models of fexes are assembled as shown on the GW box, models of genestealers cant move through the guns by there own, as, by the rules, they do not ignore other models (like "fly" key word).

Wobbly Model Syndrome is your friend here. Page 177 of the core rules.

Body of tyrranofex is not the "piece of terrain"

Fair enough. In that case the model blocks the movement and you're SOL

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

This kind of ridiculous shows why serious mini games should just use the base and standardized volume / height values for everything in-game
