Hi all!

I am trying to finish my Stuart M5A1 kit and I can't find medium machine gun barrels for the coaxial or hull mounted medium machine guns.

Are they included in the kit? Do I need to contact Warlord about this? Are they not included and I need to just work out a way to scratch build them?

If so, how are most people doing that. I could use any gun barrel shaped object, but I like the swiss cheese looking barrels that came with my other tanks.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would think someone on here will be far better placed to answer your question then me, but to my knowledge the hull mounted gun would be the 'swiss cheese' look but the coaxial i am sure i have seen like that but also in some sort of sleeve.

Might also help but i tend to always use the following when looking for reference material tank wise and they may be of some help to you.

Tank encyclopedia

Military Factory

War thunder (can be useful for decent models)

Also if you need any more Stuarts consider the rubicon model its a really nice kit.

Is the M5 a plastic or resin kit? The plastic M3 Stuart from Warlord should have the pieces, not sure about the resin M5.

The Rubicon plastic kit does have them.

The resin and metal M5A1 from Warlord should have a metal .30cal barrel for the hull-mounted gun but I'm not so sure it has one for the coaxial gun, which should be mounted to the right of the 37mm gun. You could contact Warlord to see if they'll send you one or you can just add your own with some tube styrene.

I will also make the recommendation to use the Rubicon kit in the future. I have have one and it's a fantastic little kit.
