This might be a bit silly, but imagine this situation:
Enemy units moving up to charge your stationary guns, but you have one round of movement/shooting before his next turn when he actually tries to pull of the charge.
So, in a moment of cheesy genius you place one of your airborne fliers in his path.
Avvording to
RAW, he must now move and /or charge around the base of your flier at a minimum distance of 1", which could mess up his charge ( depending on how far away he was, model placement, etc. ).
Or can he move through the flier's base ( as it is actually up in the air ), as long as he doesn't end up on it ( as was the case in 7th)???
Really interested in this, cause it would make some extra cheesy tactics - thinking like 2 fliers block a charge like 90% of the time...
