So, I'm looking for a Eldar skyrunner seer council. But, as we all know, they are horrendously priced, even by GW standards.

Does anybody know the cheapest or best way to get hold of them?

If you can find the old Eldar start collecting boxes, they were included there. While not good if all you want is the seer, if you have a spot in your collection for normal bikes and a fire prism, getting them in the SC box nets you a discount on the lot.

Get a normal bike and kitsmash it into a seer? That's what I do for most my HQ's that did not come in boxed sets.

I just picked up 2 of those Start Collecting boxes plus some other stuff in trade for a knight.
Excited for the bikers, and the warlocks on bike especially.

You get spare head/weapon arm/console plate on the seer sprue. A few spares and some green stuff to robe the legs and your done.

Just convert them using the regular Windriders. eBay some High elf spears/swords and decorate the helms a bit. WG have really nice bits for the helmet "plume"

I used to use Dragon Princes mixed with old Jetbikes, but I don't think I'd recommend trying a full rider swap on the new ones given the bent-forward pose. If you can find just a rear torso with a cloak that fits (my instinct says go for the WHFB/AoS Dark Riders) and a runically-inscribed sword from somewhere (Shadow Warriors? Harlequins?) the heads are relatively straightforward to make out of the stock heads and a bit of greenstuff.
