Hi guys. I havnt played warhammer (age of sigmar now) in years and im comeing back with kharadron overlords. I realy like the mortal wound concept and know that kharadrons heavaly lack inate mortal wounds. What allies could i bring in to add some mortal wounds to the faction? My eye was drawn to gyrobombers to keep witg the air theme and bring in targeted (if some what random) mortal wounds.

I must say I don't know many Order AoS factions outside of the ones I play, but if you're willing to abandon the flying theme then a Hurricanum is a good source of mortal wounds with it's Storm of Shemtek and the Wizard's ability to call down a comet adds a nice bit of damage as well. Plus it hands out a nice buff to any units that happen to be near it (perhaps lost a bit on Kharadron Overlords as they are generally very mobile and may very well not be near it at all).
However Gyrobombers are a good call if you can field them in number. A single Gyrobomber is often underwhelming in my experience, but have two or more attacking one unit and they can reap a bloody tally if the dice roll in your favour.

Is there any point in a Gyrocopter vs a Gyrobomber? I can't really see any reason for the copter.

Sadly, the hurricanum isn't legal as an ally for KO.
Now you can take hearthguard berzerkers with poleaxes, there's a lot of SO options, and I think that's about it.

Ah yes, my mistake. My group tends to play casually with allies going about freely so I did forget to check that was legal.

Gyrobombers are damage dealers. Gyrocopters are harassers. They're mostly ignored by the opponent because you should have bigger fish to fry, until they do some damage (and two or three of those little buggers are capable of doing some good damage if you roll well), then they get targeted and save the rest of your army some bruising. Ultimately dying an untimely death with their points made up in some dead infantry and saving your bigger units.

Sounds to me like the way to go would be more bombers than copters to me.

Absolutely right. The Bombers are far more useful - particularly on the Mortal Wounds front.
