Don't quote me on this, but I think it stands for 'Dakka Contributing Member'.
Effectively they pay a small sub to keep DakkaDakka going.

Ok follow up question. On the main page, I see my name with all the other people logged in. Mine is in yellow, but not the DCM yellow. And a few other random people half I have never heard of are in the same color. I don't see any relation to them, or why we would be in the same group. Any ideas?

I don't know how to put this, but one of the DCM benefits is a fresh, young body. The selected vessels for our aging brains are preemptively marked with yellow.
