Lovely models. They look quite similar to goblins

They're good, but definitely hobgoblin or half-orc rather than orc.

I don’t understand the love for these at all. The heads seem weirdly-proportioned, the expressions dim, but not in the way you would laugh at in public, the bodies static and tired looking, the proportions neither well done nor committed to heroicism of scale, the detail on the heads soft to the point where you can’t tell what’s hat or hair. Your human armies feel slightly ashamed for slaying them. And they don’t bring much new that the goblin kit or WGA’s orc kits didn’t already bring, except for even dumber faces.

"They're like the goblins but larger" is perfectly fine with me, I'm putting together the goblins for LOTR orcs anyway and am happy to get some matching uruk-hai.

FOr me it's the torsos, weapons and shieds. The legs can be fized with some conversion work, but for someone who's not a sculptor getting a good torso to work with as a start is important.

But i don't plan on using them as orcs at all, but rather as a basis for human mercenaries. It's worhpointing out though that Oathmark doesn't get the best heads for whatever reason. I find the heads on the human kit rather lame, and even the elves are just kind of passible. I was hoping the quality of the kits was going to be closer ot that of the recent frostgrave stuff, and am crossing my fingers that this doesn't mean the frostgrave stuff is going to go back down in quality.

OK, those pictures are a massive improvement on the first one's we had.

Yeah, like these Orcs. Can see myself getting at least 1 box.

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

I like them and plan on getting a box as well as the metal sculpts.

I like them too. Will get at least a box, though I plan on mixing them with all the cheap GW Hobgrots I got on e-bay.

These orcs look about perfect for LotR/MESBG. I've already converted some goblins to be less hunched over but these will save that work.

That does bring up my one complaint which is that they are maybe too similar to the goblins, even if standalone they're nice.

They're looking well.
Now I'm waiting for the Elf heavy infantry as there's box art for it and they look ideal for some MESBG projects for myself.

Those look brilliant, would like a size comparison of them next to their Goblins.

Some more images of the orcs.

For Tolkien or a truescale WFB where orcs are not gorillas these look pretty excellent to me.

In my day, you didn't recognize the greatest heroes of humanity because they had to ride the biggest creatures or be massive in size themselves. No, they had the most magnificent facial hair! If it was good enough for Kurt Helborg and Ludwig Schwarzhelm, it should be good enough for anyone!

I like them as the equivalent of Mordor Uruk-Hai to the Oathmark goblins' regular Mordor orcs.

I was just looking at the upcoming Osgiliath release. 24 orcs. 24 humans. 1 troll. Plus terrain and the books.

Oathmark could replicate the figures with just two infantry boxes and one of the metal trolls they produce for less than $100 (doesn’t include terrain or books obviously).
