Hi all,

More additions to my WW2 Desert vehicles with these lovely Perry Miniatures Rolls Royce Armoured Cars which will grace the table in our next Op Compass Campaign Game.

I've taken the opportunity with these early war British to try out AK Interactive Caunter Paints set, plenty of discussion re this on the blog page.

Perry's stuff as always is a pleasure to work with. Going to try some German Armour next, load the RAL8000 !

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Very nice. I have a pair of those. Mine are the 1st Corps ones that I'm planning to paint up for my Arab Revolt force. I still need to find out what colour they should be, along with a Thorneycroft lorry I have for them.

They are referred to as the "Grey Torpedoes" in one source and there is a colorized photo of ACs in Africa in grey RNAS colours, however most models are depicted in desert yellow. I would probably go for the latter.

Thanks, desert yellow it is. For some reason they always looked like too modern a paint scheme to me. I think it's the pinkish tint.
