So, just put together the female Sigmarine with hammer and shield.

That has to be one of the worst fething models I have ever assembled! What fecking idiot puts a join line down both pauldrons for heavens sake?

Even greenstuff isn't going to save that trainwreck.

Anyone else having issues?

Rant over....

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

Gathering the Informations.

Nope.

The trick is to ensure you put a bit more glue so that as it 'oozes up'? The glue will bring a bit of plastic with it so that you can file/sand it down as filler without needing to green stuff.

That one along with Gurzag were the two hardest ones i've had to build in a while. Gurzag wouldn't fit together tightly enough and theres a gap behind his neck. Angarad I ended up having to greenstuff her shoulderpads a bit.

One of the Khorne models (can't remember which) just wouldn't go together until if cut off the snap-fit nub. This is why I hate easy-build models. Overall, I've loved the Shadespire sets, though.

2000 Khorne Bloodbound (Skullfiend Tribe- Aqshy)
1000 Tzeentch Arcanites (Pyrofane Cult - Hysh) in progress
2000 Slaves to Darkness (Ravagers)

that love is the only reason I keep buying them (and the vain hope that every faction will get one)

Yes! I had the exact same issue with that model. It's not well designed at all.

At first I thought it was my fault, but then I got my hands on a second copy of the core set so that I could play 4 player and noticed that the previous owner had exactly the same problem.

It's funny we just started playing this and literally everyone has this problem. The only solution appears to be to cut the snap-fit portion of the right arm off and glue it normally. Then the pauldrons go together. At least, this worked for me.

And seriously, it does not fit well. At all. In a lot of cases i had to cut down or sand down the bits so they would fit snugly.

I like snap fit - especially get models that are already based, scenically.

But please make sure the models fit together, without obvious gaps.

I'm curious if the problem is just that the instructions and models you see on the site are wrong. If you look at her card, her model is actually posed with the hammer down to her side. I've never actually seen her posed like this, but I'm curious if she fits together correctly this way.

I do envy your fortune when it comes to model assembly if that's the worst you've seen though. I suggest not buying anything with spears.
