Probably work

Had a Onyx Contact Force fall into my lap. Trying to assemble them but there's no assembly instructions. I can probably work out the details of that on my own, but are there any hints on what size of base which things should be on?

I'm coming from a 40k background, but I'm kinda out of my element here.

Basically everything in that box is going to be on 25mm slotted bases. The exception would be the Remotes, who would be on 60mms (I think that's right--it's the largest base that should be in the box).

This force?

The two remotes on the right are on 40mm.
Everything else is on 25mm round bases.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Long term, something to be aware of is base size is on a model's statline. The far right stat before AVA is S for silhouette, which is basically the hitbox the model uses for LOS. You can find more details about it here:

http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Volume_and_Silhouette_Templates

The summary though, is:

25 mm: S1, S2
40 mm: S3, S5, S6
55 mm: S4, S7
