Depends.

The Rock would stomp everyone with his BFG but fall to Chaos.

Karl Urban would sneak past all the other factions and shoot Chaos in the dick.

Ah, ya got me there. Ya got me there...

You know I never played much Doom as a kid. I've played more of it now than I ever got to when I was younger thanks to emulators. But I did read a bunch of the books! Does anyone remember those? I really liked them. That Doom guy could probably take out some fools.

^ I barely remember the existence of Doom books. I think I read a few passages from one in a book store back in the day.

I've played the crap out of the games. Doom 3 was the game that made me want to make video games. Actually my avatar is my custom Terminator player character in Doom 3.

I think the things the Doom Marne won't kill are the things who just stay out of the way or help then return to staying out of the way.

Doomguy can beat unlimited armies of all the races, he is "the hero" and will over time always succeed.

Doomguy wins, every time.

Perfect then! GW should steal Doomguy and make a faction of Doomguys.

Then sue Doom for Doomguys infringement.

Oh gak, round two goes to 40k!

Doom Guy kills HORDES of Daemons, Undead, and possibly Possessed Marines.

Admittedly, he has a Plasma Gun and Plasma Cannon [or a close comparison in the BFG]. And a Chainsaw-rd.

Doom Guy kills Daemon Princes [Red / Pink guys that throw green fire] and Greater Daemons / Daemon Engines [Robo-Minotaur] single-handedly. Regularly. Sometimes, even without the benefit of his Power Armour. Just tanking it on his health.

He's capable of using Invisibility, and a 1+ Rerollable Invulnerable save for short periods. He kills a Daemon the size of a huge-ass-wall.

So... he could probably take on a Titan by himself? Maybe a legion of Titans? I can't think of a single faction that could stop him. He survives Hell on Earth, which would seem analogous to Exterminatus.

He and Marbo would probably have to flip a coin as to whom agrees to concede in a gentlemanly fashion, to prevent all reality from being torn asunder, should they come into conflict.

Doom guy wins.
FATALITY.
Actually reminds me a lot of the plot of TormentorXPunisher.
Well, the "plot".

He only wins if he's killing the demons rather than being the demons and then is a zombie.

The main challenge Doomguy will face isn’t going to be anything combat-related, which already has been established as his forte, but transportation and connections. Potential language barrier aside, he has no connection to any faction. Aside from pretending to be a space marine or joining a Rogue Trader’s retinue, he doesn’t have a lot of options.

Teleportation is not widely used because travelling in the warp is dangerous. You know, because there are daemons. Doomguy. Daemons. I rest my case your honor.

I thought it was implied that the Doomslayer already exists in 40K, right? Aren't the Tyranids running from something?

The conversation of "Drive or I shoot" is fairly universal. Although I can also see Eldar giving them a pilot and ship in exchange for not being murdered.

And, as mentioned previously, he can just happily trot through the Warp to get around, maybe killing the chaos gods on his way for laughs.

I'd argue a ship would let him rest more but I think he'd just take a little nap on the corpses of his enemies.

Doomguy doesn't need sleep. That is what Megaspheres and adrenaline are for.

Doomguy would destroy any 40k faction. When a portal opened to hell and the mortal realm was invaded by all of hell's demons, the Doom-dude just picked up a shotgun, killed demons left and right, and then he went through the portal and invaded hell as payback. He then sprinted through hell killing demons left and right until he ran out of targets. Bad ass.
