Ahoy fine fellow hobbyists!

I have recently received a commission miniature of a kind as I have not yet perused... A Warmachine tin Paladin!
Never have I painted a model of that range, so I was of course very excited to get some paint on this chap, made increasinlgy interesting by the fact that the client wanted the model to look a lot like the original artwork, meaning pure white armour, deep red cloak and metallic on all else, on a rocky, dry, lightly begrassed landscape, all ona GW style 40mm base..

So I set out on this fine quest, beginning with the bits below:

After practising painting white (which is a little tricky I've found) and making a general mess I have reached an undercoat stage..

Looks really clean. And the white looks great. Awesome start so far.
