Here they are. Three basic Ultramarine tactical marines. While I would have loved to touch them up a little more, I've got plenty more to go, including some Orks I'm excited to start on. Here's to the start of a war gaming career!

Hi there.

They're definitely ready for the table. Nice work.

I tend to get them to this level, meaning to go back later, and never get around to it.
But, it means I get more models on the table instead. Until you get complaints, keep going like this

Only nitpick that might be due to lightning but i could swear that armour shade looks more like crimson fist.

Thanks, but, these were just for practice. I won't be playing any Imperium faction. Still, I'm happy with the way they came out. Thanks for the kind words!

The paint is very old, so, it may be a little darker than intended.

Great job on them, Most people will tell you to thin your paints but I think they look fine as they are!

Maybe don't touch them up, keep them as a reminder of where you started, then months later put some more next to it to see how far you've progressed with your painting skills

Definitely a good start for your first models. I noticed that on some areas, like the shoulder markings, you didn't paint all the way out to the edges in some spots. Painting straight edges like that is actually pretty easy with the right brush angle i.e. not "drawing" the lines with the tip of your brush, but tracing along the edge with the side of your brush.

If you're inclined to start taking your painting a step further try building on your foundation by adding a wash and doing some highlighting or dry brushing. Though keep in mind that everything you wash will end up darker. But those are some pretty solid base colors that are in the right places.

Neat and tidy, solid basecoats. A little bit of paint thinning on the white on the shoulderpads perhaps.

Onwards and upwards! Experiment with washes and drybrushes next, and then blending will follow!
