Hi everyone,

Posted about this a couple of times in other sections during development, and we have now launched! If you're into sci-fi miniatures generally, or are an overly generous individual wanting to support the slightly longer-term development of a board game, please give us a look!

Campaign is here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1036171223/fate-of-the-eidolon-a-32mm-sci-fi-miniature-range

I AM A MARINE PLAYER

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

My concerns regarding my pledge for the first campaign were addressed elsewhere so I am removing my comment here.

@Alpharius Walks: First of all, I should specify that I am one of the people behind FITE Games - so there's no misunderstanding about the accuracy of the info I'll provide, and I'd like to thank you for pledging in the first campaign. I'm more than happy to address every single one of these issues:

Firstly, as we've posted in updates on the original campaign, there were numerous reasons that the first fulfillment dates slipped including changing printer and caster. We totally take responsibility for that and aren't making any excuses.

As it was our first Kickstarter we had unrealistically scheduled pledges with fewer models to happen first, but since production of all of the different sculpts is happening in parallel it meant that some of these were delayed and it was out of our hands.

We still haven't received all of the production casts, and so we're still (and please don't think we don't HATE being in a position of having been delayed this couple of months) waiting to be able to begin fulfillment of them, and we've been quite clear about that.

On the issue of being on a tight budget: these sculpts were done at the same time as the sculpts for Salvation and Steel and initially we had wanted to wait until the first campaign was fulfilled before carrying on with Wave 2 of that campaign and the first wave of the sci-fi sculpts. We've taken the decision to go with this second campaign because it is completely separate (there is not and will never be any cross of finances between) from the first and it's still something we're very excited about.

I can personally guarantee you, and reassure you, as we've done with the updates on the first campaign, that there is zero risk to the fulfillment of the first campaign, and that the only (but massive) disappointment for us from that is the delay. The first campaign in no way relies on the result of the one above.

If you have any other questions about it, please feel free to either PM me here, or us via KS, but I'd also be happy to discuss them publically. It was our first campaign and I'd be the first person to admit that there were mistakes made (although the delays have let to an increased quality in the final minis).
