I'm trying to match the earth on some terrain to steel legion drab (and by extension agrellan earth/badland) and if we're being honest buying three thousand tiny pots of steel legion drab just won't cut it.

I followed the handy dandy dakka paint comparison chart through to get the approximate hex code for the colour (655138), some googling lead me to a site that pulled up various complementary and contrasting colours but most importantly similar colours in decoration paints arranged by deviation.

Great, thought I. the most similar was dulux delhi bazaar 1, and i picked up a dinky tester pot of the stuff with eyes to maybe even paint an entire board in the colour someday.

Turns out that 0.9% deviation is a lot more deviation than i thought, it's not even close. So besides having a small tin of paint that i have no use for, i'm back to square one and eying up that bulk order to games workshops paint department.

Does anyone know of any larger pots of paint that are close to Steel Legion drab but for terrain rather than miniature painting?
