Hello all! I recently start a deathwatch army and i was wandering, with the current meta (maybe the codex will change thing..), witch loadoud is the most indicate for a kill team?

Yes the fragcannon spam is still a solid (and pricy) option but not as far devastating as in 7th IMO.

Do you give each KT a specific battle role or you try to balance all the tools and leave the anti-horde, anti-veicles to other unit?

Currently i have a small list and i run 2 KT of 5 guys, one with 2 FragC, 2 Shotgun and the Serg with Shield inside a corvus and another with 2 Inferno Hbolter, 2 bolter and serg with combi plas for objective camping.

Thanks for any ideas and feedback!
Sorry for the english

I think specific role is the way to go. They're too expensive to have them pay extra for a job they're not doing.

I don't like shotguns. You already pay for Special Issue Ammo on your expensive veterans, then pay another five points to not use it for an arguably worse gun. The 2D round is nice, but that's it.

I'm rolling with 2x FC / 2x Bolter/Shield and wildcard on the SGT. If there is room, I'll put a couple Bolter/chainsword in to act as cheap(ish) wounds.

The inferno HB is also pretty bad for the points.
