How does he do?

Full army or a mix of sub factions?

I tend to be pretty mono faction but expermenting a bit with Asassins, Bastion - gave up on using the custom painted Knight at the moment.

I have a fairly big army of them. Like 80-odd Sisters of various kinds and 8 tanks. I also have a bunch of Ministorum units but they're kit bashed plastics mostly.
I haven't bought any new models in 8th though, these models are all from past editions.

I have a single seraphim I picked up for a RPG project.

I have painted a few thousand points of SOB for a friend’s army, which rarely see the table due to his health issues.

I keep on thinking about picking up Celestine, more likely now that I don’t need to get the other 2/3s of the triumvirate box. If Sisters came out in plastic, I’d probably pick up a squad or two.

I have played about 10 games of 8th ed with them and have a large force, But thats b.c i'm mostly an Aeldari Player (DE and Harlequins), I also have a large Tyranids force. So its hard for me to juggle all the armies.

I don't have any model, because I hate monopose models and they really cost too much. But I proxied my SW several times into SoB

Piles of them built up for a WH/DH army mostly back when they were dirt cheap on ebay.

Played them last night against DE but I alternate and mixed other factions in as the lack of core options gets monotonous.

I have many, but not as many as I'd like. Probably around 3k points.

I play Sisters more than 80% of the time.

Will you rebuy the army when they release plastic models later this year (hopefully)?

Well, I'll definitely add a fair amount if they do. I'm still not holding my breath, though.

I'm not going to replace my collection, but I'll keep adding to it.

In 7th I had around 2,500 points, but in 8th I have a feeling it's closer to 2k. That said, I'm not currently using the army because I've been playing mech Sisters in Rhinos since 5th edition (to reasonable success, hordes (particularly Guard and Orks) were always my bane because no blast templates and I never tailored my TAC list to face them) and basically it's grown stale. So my Sisters have entered stasis and I'm working on other projects.

I used to have around 1k of them. Sold them unfortunately, although I can't actually recall ever using them in a game.

I've got about 3500 points worth and it's all painted up. I've had them since 3rd edition and they were the first army I pulled out when 8th started. They've had about a dozen wins and no losses, but I have been playing my other armies more recently. If they ever make plastic minis, I will definitely buy some. Hopefully they will be aesthetically compatible with the existing range, because I will never replace my Sororitas only add more.

Just Celestine and the Twins. I did not bought Veridyan because is very ugly for me, and I have 0 interest in metal sisters, but all the interest and money of the world for plastic ones.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

He does alright.
He's played them for a long time (+15 years) and essentially have 2 separate SoB-armies (close to 10.000 pts I'd say) as he managed to got a good deal on a (second) army some time ago, and decided to buy it and paint it rather than repaint his old army.

More or less always a full army of sisters/ministorum. On occassion he adds adds an Assassin.

A handful of converted models (including one that I use as a Counts As Celestine), Celestine and her girls, and some 3rd party resin girls.

Over the years, I've had a few of the metal ones, but nothing substantial (and they always ended up getting lost...). I had been waiting 11 years now to start a Sisters army until they came out in plastic, since it's apparently been right around the corner since then.

All my Sister's turned into spess muhreens...

But seriously, once they give us some plastic I'd love to start collecting them. Their entire model range is simply too expensive and I'm hoping plastic will drop the price or up the model count.

Waiting on plastics. I bought a few metals back when SoB came out, had a paint scheme, but the effort of cleaning them was too much because GW's quality control at the time was gak.

I own some metal sisters (and Veridyan) but I have never made an actual army out of them. My hate of metal models is greater than my love of Sisters. This is first and foremost a modelling hobby to me, and working with metal is just not fun.

I have been waiting for plastic Sisters for years, and I would definitely buy them if they were ever released.

Dude at our FLGS uses SM scouts with female heads. They look pretty good.

I'd totally buy a box or two if they came out in plastic. I like seraphim and storm bolters.

Also I love models with wings

I've wanted to start a SoB army since the 3rd edition Witch Hunters codex. I got heartily sick of working with metal minis back in the 1990s, though. So I'm another who will start buying as soon as they are in plastic.

A little bit of righteous anger now and then is good, actually. Don't trust a person who never gets angry.

I use Sisters of Silence as temporary proxies more often than I use the actual models, but I do use the vehicles and will definitely get some plastic infantry when they show up.
