A little piece of advice people might be interested in knowing. I spent years using the GW superglue, and found it to be of generally alright quality. It was so overpriced though, that I found myself casting around for alternatives. I tried WH Smith superglue, and it was absolutely dire. Then I moved onto Gorilla Glue and found it to be about the same as GW's for the same price. Then I tried the Gorilla Glue Superglue with added rubber, and found that to be even better than either one. But it was still so expensive!

But then I found it. The motherlode of cheap good glue. Say Hello to Tommy Walsh's DIY Time range Superglue!

It's got a reasonably quick dry time, a strong bond and best of all? You get THREE bottles for a pound in the big chain Poundland. That's right. Three. 24g of glue (a third as much again as the average Gorilla glue) for a single measly quid.

(This chain store:-)
Spoiler:

I'd rank it somewhere between the GW/Base gorilla glue, and Gorilla with extra rubber in quality. I've used it on literally hundreds of models to date from small 28mm up to FW monsters /dreads, and not had an issue.

So yes. Three bottles for a pound at Poundland. It's saved me an absolute fortune over the last few years, so I thought I'd share the tip!

I just use Loctite superglue. It's a bit more expensive than the cheap stuff but the cheap stuff has burned me in the past (figuratively burned, not literally) when I had some models that kept falling apart. I'm sure the cheap stuff is fine 95% of the time but the 5% of the time it burned me was enough for me to go off it completely and stick to trusted brands like Loctite.

I also use Loctite superglue. Granted it's about all I can get without making a special trip or ordering glue online, but it has never done me wrong either.

For a pound it’s worth a try, not like it’s a lot of money!

Thanks for the share

Yup.
I get through pints of the stuff for mdf terrain.
I also buy the 3g toothpaste style tubes at 8 for £1.
I stash one in nearly every box of toys that I own for repairs mid game or when I take my War Barbies on tour.

I just posted this tip somewhere else at the same time actually, and I've had another several people respond in a positive fashion and swear by the stuff. So it seems we're not alone!
