Hello,

I'm looking for good miniatures for my Alpha Legion characters, lords and sorcerers. I want them to be sober (so, no spikes or horns). Basically I want them to look almost like imperial SM except without all the Imperium iconography (eagles, seals, etc...) and dynamic poses would be great too. Any ideas which figs I could use?

May need to use normal marines and file/sand the icons off them, that would probably be the easiest and cheapest method.

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

You could use the Mk III and IV tactical marine boxes, there's ZERO Imperium on them, it's all older legion equipment. Add to this Cataphractii and Tartaros Terminators.

The Horus Heresy stuff has plenty of options, and all the heavy weapons in different formats. Might cost a bit more, but thankfully Marines are a little easier on the pocketbook because of points to dollars..

Yes that's what I plan on using for regular marines, I was just looking for some models that would be a bit more elaborate for characters.

Well those characters from betrayal are(or was i haven't checked prices in a while) pretty cheap. decently ornate without any imperial stuff on them. so thats an easy dark apostle and terminator lord.

Sorcerers are going to be tough as they end up looking like Tsons.
