Yes, I believe you can do this. But the Gnarlmaw will need its own detachment. To get around this you can deepstrike slimux, and make him spawn the Gnarlmaw. You will still need to set aside the reserve points, but you will not need the separate fortification detachment that way. Also, boobs are nice.
