To celebrate our Kick-starter going live on May the 1st, we will be re-introducing you to the girls, to kick it all off let me introduce you to;

Florence Wattsmith- A Classically trained investigator, she is above and beyond all the rest in the field of paranormal investigating. An expert at hunting and trapping all that go "bump" in the night, you will always find her equipped with her EMP wrist detector and phantom vortex pack.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Time to introduce you to another one of our lovely Steam Girls,

The Tesla Knight -Olivia Judith Bray- The head of heavy infantry for The Queens guard and a fearsome knight, Olivia roams the battle field as if invincible with her Tesla Cannon and Steam powered companion Phinx.

I like Florence Wattsmith. Does she have a ghost collecting back pack? Ever paranormal investigator should.

Less of a fan of the Tesla Knight. She looks right at home in the Iron Kingdoms, though!

Undertaker To The Undead

Real Name Unknown- In a time when body snatching is at its highest and human experimentation is at an all time high, the deceased do not always sleep. This Ghoul Hunter protects London's largest cemetery from body snatchers and the dark creatures that roam in the night.

It's that time again, its time to introduce another of our steam Girls. Today it is Jet Express;

Miss Sarah Whiteheart- flying at high speeds with her jet-pack; Sarah's primary job is to deliver important documents to and from the front line which is fraught with artillery air fire and of coarse explosive danger. Who the heck needs carrier pigeons?

Thanks for your feedback on the girls posted so far, its really appreciated. Yes, she does have a contraption for collecting ghosts that she has come across/ defeated.

The Tesla Knight is different compared to the style of the other girls, i was really inspired by Nikola Tesla and i wanted to do a big bulky electric knight as one of the 6 girls and i'm really pleased with how she has turned out. But I do understand that she isn't to everyone's taste.

The Cracken Hunter

Katherine Blacklock-

As strong as steel and as bold as brass, this Monster Hunter wont's let anything stop her from gaining her kill and claiming her prize.

I'm not opposed to the theme. For me, it's the armor. Particularly, the three overlapping "scale" pieces running up her abdomen to the sternum. I'm not female, so I could be off base here, but it looks, like, unnecessarily uncomfortable. The gun looks like it would not be as heavy as it looks like it should be too, but I might be getting nitpicky. Also, does the robot dog have a individual piece of robot tech strapped over one of its robot eyes?

The others aren't bad though. I like Florence quite a bit.

Thank you for your feedback Daedalus, its really appreciated. Yeah, the three overlapping scale pieces do look uncomfortable now that you have actually pointed it out. I am actually not quite sure if she would be able to bend her abdomen because of the three metal scale pieces and I think that is why it looks uncomfortable. But i think it just looks cool and it fits in with the rest of the armour. And when the miniature is being painted the three scales could be painted to match the other leather parts on her armour. The gun isnt as heavy as its size would indicate, the power that comes from the gun and the damage it can inflict on its target is the reason it needs to be held with two hands.
I almost forgot about the last question, the Tesla Knight has a steam panther companion. It is a piece of robotic tech to replace an eye it previously lost in battle.

Thank you for your questions and feedback, its really interesting to hear from other people and get their opinions on the Steam Girls.

I love steampunk minis! These look very imaginative. But do you know what isn’t imaginative?
Female minis with boob armour/bustiers, and thigh boots etc. It seems tired and cheesy, especially when a good 4/6 of the designs have the same elements. Only 1/6 designs doesn’t have cleavage/midriff/high heels visible. I love the feel of the artwork, just not the male gazey elements.
-edit: there was a time when I would have loved it, but i’ve started thinking more now.

While I pretty much agree with you (egregious arse and under-leg crotch shots!) I just take the tack of supporting the campaigns that have figures that I like and passing on those that are entirely cheesecake. I mean, I backed Raging Heroes. I'm not against a bit of cheese, but the line is a personal thing to place.

That's probably the best approach.

It does beat the 'Don't Like What I Don't Like' element that creeps in at times.

The tesla wheel is great, the others lack the cleverness of some other steampunk offerings out there, unless there is something really special about the execution of the sculpts.

I am really sorry to those that have posted comments here, i completely missed your first few comments. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Yeah i agree with everything you guys have said.
Maybe its a little cheese for some, the whole raunchy poses and figure hugging/ leave nothing to the imagination clothing that the ladies are wearing.

But i am honestly happy with the design of the Steam Girls and the way they have turned out, They are even better than i envisioned them.
