I know dakka jet is the best bang for your buck but is the Burna bomber close second? I really like how that jet looks and really want to build one but not at the expense of it being garbage on the table. Any thoughts on this?

A friend runs two jets and one bomber... great combo.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.

Burna is the wonderful tactical toolbox due to it's ability to explode very powerfully.

You can position it rightly so it can't move it's minimal speed and explodes next to it's target (works best when your enemy sits in the corner).

One burna bomber IMHO is a must. Dakka is debatable. It shoots better, but overall you can get this from another sources cheaper.

Dakkajets and burnabomber can both be viable but make sure to include more armored stuff in your list otherwise a single plane will die in turn 1 against any army.

With a green tide bring at least 2 fliers, if not 3. Otherwise single fliers are ok in lists with walkers and/or vehicles.

The burna bommer is pretty good at taking out single wound elite infantry and GEQ - basically anything that comes in units of 10 and is worth some points. Pathfinders, Aspect Warriors (Dark Reapers!), Thousand Sons, Plague Marines, Berzerkers, enemy Tank Bustas are all great targets for their bombs and shooting.

The Dakkajet is good at taking out units with bad saves or assassinating characters (jump next to them, unload).

I feel like both a have their place in an ork army, it just depends on what you want.

Avoid the blitza bommer though. As a modeling tip, just use the big bombs for your burna model and glue the extra shooters to the wings. It looks awesome and you can count your plane as any of the three loadouts.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
