Sorry, no. That always looks terrible.

Soul Grinders/Defilers, with a little clever positioning and scenery placement fit quite easily on a CD (stack 3 to be the same height as a GW base).

Yeah, questionable for the defiler, but it works for larger two-legged pieces (knights and larger). Also makes them MUCH easier to maneuver on a tight table.
