Trying to clean off models that have 3 layers or paint/primer

I’ve had them soak in purple power (not diluted) for 4 days now. Some I sent coming off but not much.

I bought a sonic cleaner also, filled it with purple power and som models and have let it run for 15 min. Still not much help

I’ve tried simple green in th past and that I know will have the same effect.

Anything that’s stronger/better? I don’t want to melt the plastic

15 minutes won't do it. If you're going to use an ultrasonic it'll need 45-60 mins. minimum...but that'll overcook some of the cheaper ultrasonics (I melted the basket in mine!).

As far as stripping plastic...I dunno if there is a proper wonder-product. I do mainly metals, and only the occasional plastic. Have they stripped "enough" to simply prime them? Plastics tend to soak up colour and will have shades that don't like to come off, but if you can brush/clean enough so that the surface isn't packed with paint you may be able to simply prime it and carry on.

PS: What kind of brush are you using after you're dunking them?

Sadly the one I got looked way bigger. It’s enough to fit 3 terminators in at a time and I got a solid 20 or more models.

I’m letting it run for 30 min as it’s the max it does at a single time.

I use a tooth brush as there’s a lot of details I’m trying t clean.

Trying to make it so I don’t have to scrub for weeks after it’s gone through sonic and soaked.

I can get to bare plastic. But its very small spots. Way to much paint on it to spray again.

It’s also black primed and I’m going for a white prime,

Hmmm...yeah sounds like you have some crazy friggin' paint on there. I've run into a couple of minis which were lengthy recoveries. I don't have any other tricks to recommend.

try isoproyl alcohol. it removes paint from plastic really well and I use it quite often to great success. I pick mine up cheap at pharmacies (it's rubbing alcohol).
