Please pardon, as I am new to 8th, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it.

If a transport model can transport ten units, can it transport two squads of 5 models? In the olden days, it used to be that one transport = one unit, but I'm not seeing that.

Secondarily in the entry for terminators it says that they count as "two additional models".
Does that mean (as it did in the olden days as well) that each terminator counts as two models, or do terminators now count as three models?

Thank You in advance

You need to read the rules on a case-by-case basis.

For example, CSM/SM transports simply transport X number of <Legion> models, in which case you can split that capacity however you want, for the most part (you can find FW exceptions where the rules are badly written that allow other things, go figure).

However, Tyrranocites can only transport a single unit, although this may be the only exception to the rule.

You can put as many models in a transport up to its maximum capacity. The only thing you can''t do is break up units.

A terminator takes up 2 spaces per model.

To add to this, the transport in question will say exactly what units can embark. Terminators, for example, cannot embark in a Rhino.

Basically, just read what's on the datasheet and don't exceed the capacity of total models.
