Aggressors.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.

Aggressors are pure filth in an RG list.

Dreads love that -1 to hit: Mortis and Leviathans are great in RG lists and should take precedence over Preds and the like for their increased toughness from the Chapter Tactic. Inceptors have the 18" range and 12" movement to manage their -1/engagement pretty well. Aggressors are the stand out benefactor of the RG strat, but a squad of intercessors dropped into cover on an objective can be a disproportionate pain to deal with too. Lias Issodon if you Fear No Cheese.

Scout Bikers, one of the most under valued units in the SM armory. 25pts, T5, 2W, fast, they come with combat shotguns, pistols AND chainsword on top of the twin bolter on the bike, meaning within 12" they get 6 shots, and 3 attacks in close combat including their pistol fire. Slap a stormbolter on the Sgt for 10 shots within 12" or 4 outside that, Raven Guard will be tougher to hit, and they get to use the cluster mine Strat when falling back to inflict mortal wounds, great when you've got that enemey Character unit tied up in CC and it's only got 1 or 2 left.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also, I like Vanguard Vets with as many Plasma Pistols on them as you can afford, 2 per man, with a few just having standard chainsword/bolt pistol to eat a few wounds without degrading the unit. Not much wants to get too close to that. Fielded a RG with a friend allowing me substitutions to see how it would work, dropped 2x10 man Van Vets with 9 Plas Pistols in unit total, Kayvann dropped with them, worked insanely good, but I'll need more testing.
