Are you going to add some Berserkers?

I just used some Warlord Celts (Germanic Barbarians) with Viking heads and some weapon swaps for mine. It is nothing fancy, but they look distinct enough.

Very nice. I also have gone down the path of making units with similar colors on their shields. Helps bring the unit together and seperate models when they get close.
