how concerned are you about proper size? you can get round confrontation bases (the ones the prepaints are on) for about $1 per bag on Miniature market.

Yeah, I have bunches of those, they are 30mm, so essentially exactly the same size.

yeah I really like those, I have been moving all my metal conf to those bases and started putting some of my AoS on them as well.

I wouldn't stress it too much.

As for those promoting the game, they may want to look into Path to Glory. It's not only a game in its own right, but is receiving continuing support in the more recent Battletomes (from Sylvaneth onwards, I think)
