Greetings all! Before the edition change I had started collecting minis to do a Corsair army from IA:11. Originally I was going to do an all Void Dragons raiding force with chrome red, now that I've gotten to the painting stage I realized that I already have a red and black 40k army (inquisitorial scion "daemon hunters") so it's back to the color theory drawing board. I am in need of some inspirato and I'm curious to see what others have come up with for their unique schemes!

Fantasy: Tomb Kings, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Lizardmen, Daemons
40k: Daemon Hunters (GK,MT allied), Tallarn Armored Battle Group, Night Lords.
Firestorm Armada/Firestorm Planetfall: Dindrenzi

The quiet hum of the earth's dreaming is my new song."

I went with something a little fantasy High Elf looking for mine, to get a more ethereal look, over the typical sci-fi stuff. I also plan on putting some bone texture on them at some stage

Are there any schemes from other armies (particularly outside of 40K) you like? Any superheroes with colour schemes you dig? Sports teams, race cars, or things from movies? Mine are always driven by colour combos I find attractive.

My basic colour scheme for my Craftworld is Purple/White in either combination:

I also have some pirates or corsairs in a different scheme.

Here's mine, nothing fancy, I wanted an army for which I could paint a full unit in a single sitting. I did mine as corsairs, they've all got scourge heads, and sisters of slaughter heads on the warlocks.

Here's a recent shot of one of my tanks mostly painted up, and one that's still in construction. The bone colour is all basecoat for the bright red, which is a vehicle or role marking, I'm not entirely sure right now.

Didn't get much Eldar painted, but I played around with a few schemes. I didn't like how it scaled up to vehicles, which is why I didn't continue with it. Maybe you draw some inspiration from it?

Done with an airbrush and sticky stencils.

I took a stab at Eldar a while back. Basically, a dark grey with orange/yellow and gold elements, plus black gems.

Note I didn't feel like blending colors at the time, so I just banded them.

For Aspect Warriors, I just used the 'standard' colors as (major) accents to the basic idea.

@zambro. Loving the hex effect. Nice work.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
