Hey folks,

I've just picked up some Imperial Navy ships for BFG and I need some help Identifying what I've got. I've got the rule book, but have never played the game. It's hard to determine what is what from the drawn pictures in the book. They all look pretty similar to me.

Secondly, do I have a workable fleet here?

Top pic are cobra destroyers.
Second are cruisers (overlord battlecruiser or tyrant, gothic class, dictator class, lunar class)
Last are 3 firestorm frigates and a dauntless light cruiser.

Not sure about usability hopefully someone who has played more recently than me (last game about 10 years ago) can say.

Yes, its from left to right in the image.

Imperial Cruisers are between 160ish to 220 points, it's the Dictator class carrier that's 220, if I recall. [Those were always overcosted.]

Escorts are roughly 30 points. [Is it 25 a Cobra, 30 a sword, and 35 a firestorm? I forget.] So you're looking at very roughly, 1,000 points of fleet here. That's perfectly reasonable for a game of BFG, I never really played games larger than 1.5k-2k, and 1000 is plenty to have some fun with.

Now it's time to get them painted up, get a list built and learn the rules.
