I have the models and was about to build and paint some bezerkers for my Night Lords. Just as I was about to snip the first piece off the sprue, however, I had a panic attack. Was I doing the right thing? Would these actually work in a Night Lords army? Should I save my points for something else? If I really want bezerkers, should I make a detachment of World Eaters? What is the opinion on bezerkers (and while we are here, any of the other god-specialized elites) in a Night Lords or other Chaos Undivided force?

They're also a redundancy unit. You're going to want multiples.

I think berzerkers are best in a WE list, but you often don't really need the +1A on the charge, given that they fight twice.

Night Lords berzerkers could be fine. Just not ObSec.

They'd work fine. MSU would be better, to maximize the night lords' morale bomb ability. You also want to kill models from multiple units rather than focus fire and wipe one out, to get the most of the morale bomb. Having the ability to fight twice, which includes consolidating and piling in twice, helps you do this.
