About
Chibis are super deformed, yet adorable characters that have lately have made a splash in the boardgaming and miniature community with games such as Super Dungeon Explore, Arcadia Quest, Ninja All-Stars and many others. They're also featured in collectible figurines and in other geeky paraphernalia.

This is the EIGHTH Chibi KickStarter run by Impact! Miniatures and Impact! is partnering with Chibi Capsule and Märchen to bring you some incredible, new Magical Girl chibi miniatures along with monsters for them to combat!

The funding goal will pay for the sculpting & 3-D printing of the miniatures. And for some of them: The metal masters and resin production molds needed to create mass production of the miniatures.

he Miniatures
ALL miniatures in this KickStarter are provided unpainted. Unless otherwise stated after the name of the miniature, all miniatures offered with this KickStarter will be high quality 3-D prints done on a top end 25 to 50 micron printer (you should not see print lines after priming and paint). As stretch goals are reached we will unlock additional sculpts. Stretch Goal may also pay for metal mastering and rubber molds for mass production spincast resin models which will allow the project to offer some of the Magical Girls at lower costs to our backers. The miniatures will require light clean up, being primed before painted and might need some assembly (although we will do our best to keep the figures with as few pieces as possible).

You can use your reward dollars to get any of the miniatures in the listing below.

Meet the girls!
MARIYA and the FIGHTING GIRLFRIEND - (70mm tall overall - spincast resin) - $10

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Note:
as mentioned above some minis will be direct 3d prints

& those that don't normally get on with Trollcast might want to give it another try as a recent project Impact! did for Tim Prow/Chaz Elliot oldhammer minis featured a new blend that was popular with several folk who had previous issues with the material

Huh, look at those corgis.

Are those the characters from Life is Strange? I'm actually very tempted by the 2B. The fact that I wouldn't have to paint eyes is a big bonus, too.

What an incredible first 24 hours! Thank you backers! 4 Unlocked Stretch Goals

Posted by Impact! Miniatures (Creator)

What a great first 29 hours. We are in awe as we hoped but did not expect to be sending our first update not only funded but with 4 unlocked extra miniatures!

So thanks for helping us fund (it took 14 minutes) and for unlocking 4 stretch goals all in the first day of the project.

So we unlocked all four of the character and beast Magical Girl Riders! So all of these will be sculpted and available as 3-D prints!

Chibi Capsule and Impact! are both really looking forward to making these figures for everyone.

And now with that success ... we want to announce Stretch Goals #6 to #9 which will move the Riders from 3-D prints over to spin cast resin which once we can pay for all the molding will allow the KickStarter to offer these figures at a much lower price!

We are very grateful to our support during this project. I'm working with Heriberto to come up with even more fun items to bring to us over the next 2+ weeks!

Thank you again backers!

Tom @ Impact!

Just to make sure no confusion. The eyes are just shown digitally to help see what the figure could be. The eyes are blank so they would still need to be painted ... but chibi eyes are really large areas to work with vs 28mm to 32mm scale models.

Taiyaki Shibe unlocked! On our way to our first lowered cost rider! Painted Rabbitank and Flower Witch

We unlocked Stretch Goal #5 for the Taiyaki Shibe miniature! You can add it now to your pledge for $25. With that goal unlocked we are now on our way to unlocking having the Magical Rider Batter & Ram turned into a spincast resin set which will reduce the price of that figure set from $25 to $10.

We are already on the way to that goal ... currently only $1,605 away!

We sent out some early copies of the figures to be painted and wanted to share how they look so you can see them. We'll start regularly sharing these in future updates.

Here is the fully painted Rabbitank and Flower Witch. Thank you to Jason Turner and Nick Kelsch respectively for their work.

Thank you for the project reaching over $5000. Heriberto, Dia and I all very much appreciate your support!

The magic Happened!

Posted by Heriberto Valle

Heriberto here! (the sculptor :3) I just wanted to thank everyone for absolutely SMASHING this kickstarter campaign. If you have had participated in a KS campaign before, you know the drill of what comes afterwards. (and if you haven't or got questions, I'm sure Tom will be able to answer promptly as he is handling the logistics and production).

In behalf of Dia (the designer of the magical girls) and me, thank you. This is our first joint miniatures project and I'm super stoked to make them available to a larger audience. I hope that you'll have tons of fun with them soon. Whether you use them for painting or just gaming.

Alright. So onto other cool stuff. I'd like to formally introduce you in an update to Dia. She designed the main magical girls characters, and she works alongside me on the Capsule Chibi project as an art director. She's wonderful, and does amazing illustration at her FB page. Put in a comment if possible! She will no doubt appreciate it.

And speaking of Dia, she is looking into including a random sticker with your order. We're still trying to see how many we can produce and send, so let's hope we can do thi s with every KS shipping package.

Also, May I also call to your attention the works of Dliok? She guest-designed the Taiyaki shibe for this campaign, and she's a wonderful illustrator from Chile. She has an art store too.

On my end, i'll be constantly updating you with progress on the sculptures that remain to be produced. Don't worry, I wont take long! And I'll take you all along for the ride.

And speaking of ride... Please allow me to "tease" my next KS project, coming near september. And this will be the only teaser in a while, as right now my main concern is finishing the remaining rider miniatures for delivery before starting on anything else. I'll just leave you with the following image:

Cheers and again, Thanks!
