Any tips, tricks, or tutorials on painting striped clothing? I want to put my ork boyz in black/white horizontal striped prisoner outfits, but my first attempt was atrocious (I'll get a pic up later so you can laugh at it)

Probably work

Get the ligher color, white/yellow/whatever. Paint it solid over entire surface.
Wait for it to dry, probably a little longer than you'd usually wait, because it has to be absolutely dry.
Take a piece of gentle, non-marking tape, like clear scotch tape and tape the edges of the surface around where you want the lines. You'll probably want to test this with your paints on a piece of sprue or something to make sure it doesn't pull up tape first.
Paint the exposed surfaces. Let dry completely as above.
Pick up tape, move to next line, repeat.

On rounded surfaces or surfaces where tape just obviously isn't going to work, I'll pencil in lines showing where i want each line to be and then paint over it. It's not perfect, but it's the best thing I can come up with.

In addition to daedalus's suggestion which is exactly what I would do, I would also thin out the dark stripe color to a 2-3:1 medium:paint ratio; this way, if you paint outside of the lines or if it seeps under the tape, it will be slightly easier to touch up. The thinner it is, the easier it will be to cover up. You can always go over it several times to darken out.

Just an additional tip in addition to those above. Before applying the tape onto the surface of your miniature, stick it and peel it off of your work station. (A clean area mind you.)
It will help take some of the adhesive off and lower the chance of residue or taking up any of the paint that you want to leave on the miniature.

Paint lighter color first. Mask all the lines down with tape. Then with AIRBRUsH slowly spray your dark color. 10% paint. 90% Air. And slowly build that color up. You’re basically drying it painting it drying it painting it. This way no paint will run into the light color area.
