Greetings everyone!
I used to frequently ghost Dakka threads so I figured I should join the fold and connect with the broader community in a greater way. I'm excited to use the player-finder tool, get feedback on my painting, improve my hobby skills, and maybe even find a local community!
Thread question:
I am a fan of fluff. With
40k, I like to utilize fluff to reflect past battles, catalogue special events, and actively create a 'living' hobby. The goal is to enable/encourage/enhance the connection between players/hobbyists and their armies/adversaries.
To be clear: I'm not talking about writing blurbs or notebook entries (although that is something I do as well). What I'm talking about is more like a personal database of sorts... (with blurbs added for depth, should hobbyists so choose).
Additionally, I'd love feedback on the systems I've created for both my own purposes and, hopefully, to spur others to create their own
Perhaps some play-tested feedback as well?
All that said, where should I put my thread? I know there is a fluff section, but I would categorize this as "gameplay related" since the system is intrinsically linked to what happens on the tabletop. Should it go under General Discussion? Any/all help is mightily appreciated.
May your 'Ead bashin' be brutal and your ammo never empty.
Cheers,
Whazgog
