Hello, I have the gang war 1 book and theres no rules for spud jacks or something similar. Are they in underhive rulebook?

Yes. It's a pain.

Wargear starts on pg 68 of core rulebook. If you keep flipping, the spud jacketer is after the close combat weapons.

This is my impression about some of the new peculiar weapons:

At early development stage, model designers were free to make anything they wanted, preferably something new and house specific (like Goliath's spud jacker). The team making the rules then had to make rules for whatever new stuff the model designers had made.

But after the initial rule book, some of these weapons have been omitted. I get the feeling there could be a change in direction, maybe they want to go back on this and just treat those new weapons in a generic way? In old Necromunda, they would simply be a club or a hammer or something generic. I don't think they were included in Armoury of GW2 either.

We'll get more clues in future books, for example GW3 which is expected to include all weapons for N17.
